Identifying 4 Different Types of Soils

This week we are separating our 4 different types of soils into jars and experimenting to see what the soil is made up of in the area where our school is located. Different soils from different areas will have various amounts of sand, silt and clay in them.

Mother`s Day


We made Mother`s Day cards in Art class today. Happy Mother`s Day!

Nature Walk

Today we went on a nature walk to have some hands on experience examining plants and animals in their habitats.



Tennis Lessons

Yesterday Capital Camps ran a fun tennis lesson right in the schools backyard! We have some really skilled students. A newsletter for summer camps at Capital Camps was sent home with your child.

Celery Experiment

One last plant experiment before the end of the year. Checking out how plants absorb water. Will the celery turn the colour of the dyed water?
